I first heard about Apple Cider Vinegar and Cayenne Pepper from my mother. I
use to see her drink this every morning. My mother is never sick and from as
long as I could remember she never took sick days. I quickly started following
in her footsteps and began drinking the same concoction and quickly saw a
difference in my skin and my body. I found that I wasn't getting sick and I
haven't taken a sick day in a while now. From my experience it is the perfect
Health Tonic for Colds and sinus problems.
It is reported that Bragg's is the better brand to buy. I usually take a
small glass or one 8oz cup and I add 1 teaspoon of the apple cider vinegar and
then throw in a sprinkle of cayenne. Be careful with your sprinkle because too
much can cause the drink to be too hot. If you find that the taste is not to
your liking then you can add a teaspoon of Honey, Agave or Maple Syrup. It is
an excellent digestive aid to start of the day !
I started doing my research on benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar and knew that
I was on the right track. This is what I found:
1. Balances your inner body system.
2. Detoxes your body.
3. Reduces heartburn.
4. Aids in weight loss.
5. Reduces High Cholesterol.
6. Lowers High Blood Pressure.
7. Restores Alkaline Acid Balance.
In my research the benefits of Cayenne Pepper were listed as:
1. Anti cold and Flu agent
2. Stimulate circulation
3. Neutralize acidity
4. Aids in cleansing and detoxifying.
5. Aids with heartburn, fever, sore throat, hemorrhoids, menorrhagia in
women, nausea and upset stomach.
6. Prevents Migraine Headaches.
7. Anti Allergen.
8. Digestive Aid.
9. Supports Weight Loss
Since I have been taking this I noticed that I have not had a cold nor
the Flu in quite some time. I also have less break outs and it has even
regulated my period helping it be a lot lighter. So the first thing I drink in
the morning before breakfast is my Apple Cider Vinegar and Cayenne. I swear by
it !!
Apple Cider Vinegar and Cayenne Pepper the Cure all !

Cars Cars Cars ! Vintage cars, Classic Cars and even some brand new cars !
It is always great when Family visits because you get to show them
around and you do a lot more sightseeing in LA than you probably would do otherwise.
So a week ago I decided to take my parents to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank mainly due to the fact that on Friday evenings they have a huge car show in their carpark. My dad is a huge car enthusiast and I knew this was just up his alley. This is the place that you will find classic car lovers from all over LA gathering to show off their ride and what is under their hood. You may get lucky and may even see Jay Leno passing though with one of the many classic cars he owns.
I actually took a few minutes to walk around and I saw some of the classics. There were a few of the older ones such as an Old Ford and a 1960's Pontiac Firebird shown below.
For Father Day we drove through Hollywood and then made our way over to Beverly Hills and to our surprise there was another car show. This one I didn't know about but then we found out that every year for Fathers Day Rodeo Drive closes the street and they host their annual RODEO DRIVE CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE. You can find every classic and luxury automobile lining the streets. The show opened with the Famous Wells Fargo wagon and then continued to showcase rare and spectacular examples of cars that have graced the streets of Beverly Hills over the past century. Some of these included the famous and very old Beverly Hillbillies Wagon from 1924, 1968 Ford Mustang GT Bullitt and a 1960's AC Cobra and last but not least my dream car, the 2015 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

The cars were labelled with the names and
year, and these ranged from 1901 to 2015 . They were all in immaculate
condition, and are obviously the " pride and joy " of their owners.
They had also been judged, and several had the different ribbons
denoting their placement.
The best part about the weekend was the fact that my dad said he had a great time and enjoyed the car shows the most. At that point I knew my job was done !
Stay tuned for more exciting reviews about the events I attend with my friends over the next few weeks !

Health & Fitness
Lets talk about Health & Fitness. Are you healthy ? Are you fit ? Do you like your body ? Are you always tired ? What are you doing to get in shape ? Or are you currently maintaining your size ?
I keep meeting people that constantly say they are tired. Or they are so unhappy with their body and just continue to put on weight. Trust me Ive been a victim myself and for a while I realized I had low energy and was sleeping longer hours. I was that person who was always active growing up so when I started to get sluggish and saw those lines and dimples on my butt I realized it was time to hit the gym.
The gym...a place people like to make up all kinds of excuses as to why they cannot get there. Ive heard it all. Excuses from "I cannot afford it" but yet they are buying loads of food and alcohol every weekend and over indulging constantly. Then there is the "I do not have time" but they can find time to go out partying, play video games and then there is of course Happy hour.
I do know that some people really just cannot afford anything more in their finances so try looking up some YouTube videos online and you will find everything from Yoga, Pilates, kick boxing, Tae Bo and bootcamp Abs ! You can even do some walking around your neighborhood or start with a light jog and build from there. All it takes is 20-30 minutes a day and you will feel the difference.
I do know it is very hard for some people to get out of bed early or to even just get on those work out clothes but you have to push yourself ! Remind yourself that your health is just as important as your job and your social life.
I just started back in the gym and I feel amazing. I have seen a huge difference in my attitude. I am seeing the definition come back and I am getting a lot more done during the day. I am constantly coming up with new ideas even while I am working out. I always believe that it is better to get that work out in at the beginning of the day but for those of you who are working different hours then I say go to the gym right after work. Once you get home and relax then you most likely won't bother to go back out.
Stop making those excuses and just do it !! You will see the difference - so much more alive, alert and energetic in as little as one week and you will have a lot more energy. So don't deprive your body! Give it that much needed exercise and you will see things turn around for you. You will feel amazing and even your confidence will soar ! See you at the gym tomorrow morning.
Work it !

Family
Family.... VERY important. I have had a lot of people ask me about my family. They always want to meet my parents which I find quite amusing. We are very close and I pretty much share everything with them.
I love my family. I actually come from a very big family. Mum has 9 siblings and dad has 5. I only have 1 brother...but cousins !....there are 32 of us and then of course extended. So yes huge !! We may not always agree but I enjoy our talks and the discussions surrounding various issues. None of us have the same ideas or opinions but we learn from each other and this is what is important and I would not have it any other way.
Not everyone has this type of family dynamic. Some people grow up not even knowing their parents or maybe they are an only child or maybe grew up in foster care. Some people have been disowned by their own family because of their sexual preferences or their religion or maybe who they have married.
Along the way I have been lucky to have met many people through my jobs, travels, schools and extracurricular activities and I quickly realized that family does not necessarily mean blood. Family can also be those who we have met along the way. Our friends become our family. This could be your best friend, your partner, your neighbor or even your coworker.
Some of the people that have become my friends over the years through varying ways have now become my family. I treat them like my own brother or sister and so I just want everyone to know that we all belong to a family. Look at your coworker, your friend, your priest, your partner and even your neighbor and you will realize that this is your FAMILY staring right back at you! These are the people who care about you who share in your joys, your sorrows, your challenges and your successes. They are your consistent supporters.
To all of the families out there, sending positive vibes your way!

Introduction
I want to start my blog by introducing myself. My name is Trina Martica and I decided to do this blog because I get a lot of people asking about my accent, my skin and about my life. So I decided to share with you who I am and what I do on a daily basis in my life.
I am originally from Barbados and spent 19 years of my life growing up on that beautiful island. I left Barbados and then headed to Florida to pursue my undergraduate degree in International Business & Trade. I lived in Florida for 5 years and then traveled for 4 months between Barbados, Florida, New York and California, spending most of my time in New York of course.
After exploring New York I decided it was time to make a decision in my life and find a job. I ended up returning home to Barbados and spent 2 years working in a law firm working my way up the corporate ladder to manager. I did enjoy this job immensely but soon realized that it was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had saved enough money to make a move to London and thus applied for my visa to live in London for 2 years. I spent the next 2 years of my life modeling and then fell into acting along the way while in London. I always knew that London was just for a time and that my heart always belonged to the United States and so at the end of my 2 years I moved to New York.
I enrolled in Acting School in New York and did a One Year course while acting. After this I felt that I could be doing more and wanted to go a step further and learn about the Business side of the Film Industry. I found out about a Program that was a One Year Intensive MBA that specialized in Media Management. This particular course incorporates the business of the Film Industry, Music Industry, Arts & Publishing and Media. At the end of my course I decided to move to Los Angeles and look into acting and/or producing in the Entertainment Industry.
Moving to LA was great. I always wanted to be in the middle of it all and although I am getting few roles here and there I realized I could be doing a lot more with my life. I wanted to reach out to people and this is where I came up with the idea for a Blog and a YouTube channel. I get quite a few people interested in my life and how I made it to LA so I thought why not BLOG about it. All of my dreams have come through and I always believe in being Positive. There are a lot of people struggling and I love to encourage everyone I meet along the way so Remember DO WHAT YOU LOVE !
